A Hand Geometry Reader is perhaps the most common Biometric device. Rather than reading the finger or palm print, it makes over 31,000 different measurements of the employee’s hand. The reading and verification process takes less than a second and the system shows high read reliability in difficult environments. The system is based upon ten years of development and has a proven heritage. There is no need for employees to have ID cards of fobs that can be easily lost or forgotten.

Hand Geometry readers are ideal if you wish to eliminate ‘buddy punching’, or any other form of fraudulent use from employees. It can be used at unsupervised sites where the movements of employees are not easily monitored. It will also work if hands are dirty or stained, so is ideal for any factory or construction environment.
